Anguish. A vast corroding prison complex from the almost forgotten Yah'rutz empire. This zine describes a sliver of the first floor. Containing 12 rooms, 4 factions, 3 hooks, 2 platonic ideal dungeons, and 1 incomplete floor. Designed for starting adventurers. The dungeon is slightly biased towards Cairn mechanics but can be easily modified to any OSR or other ttrpg.
Submitted to the Zungeon Jam 2025.
The zine was firstly created by hand and later scanned and for accessibility handwritten text was replaced by digital text. Both versions are available to download.

While I still can't find the word for the feeling this evokes in me, I did find something else - also applicable.
Fernweh - a German word for a melancholic desire to venture to a place far away from where you are.
I still don't know if it's to leave my current place after reading it - the bleak and absurd prison setting mimicking how life seems to degrade to lately.
Or reading it makes me feel inside Anguish, the feeling is the will to escape. Which as much loot as possible.
